Founded in 1952 by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 47, SCE Credit Union has always been committed to the people we serve. In 1971 we opened our second location in El Monte, California, allowing us to expand our membership to the community. Many years later in 1991, we changed our name to SCE Federal Credit Union. As membership grew over the years, we opened several more branches around Southern California. Then in 2012 a merger allowed us to expand our membership into Southern Nevada.

- President/CEO – Dan Rader
Prior to being named President in January 2016, Dan served as SCE FCU’s CFO since 1997 and was responsible for the departments of Loss Prevention, Lending, Operations, and Accounting, as well as balance sheet management and investments. He also sits on the board for the Center for Financial Empowerment, serving as Treasurer, and is the Board Chair of Member Advantage Insurance Services, LLC and Community Mortgage Funding, LLC.
I believe in our mission of being there for our members and that our members-first focus ensures we understand their needs and personal situations, and will ensure the continued success of our Credit Union.
Before coming to SCE FCU, he was employed by Professional Bancorp, Inc., a publicly traded single bank holding company (First Professional Bank, N.A.), as its Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He also spent four years at Citizens Bank of Pasadena, a privately held bank, ending as Vice President and Controller. A native of the Chicago area, Dan earned his BA in Economics from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He also earned the Certified Chief Executive designation (CCE) by successfully completing the Credit Union Executive Society's CEO Institute program in 2014.
As an active member of the community, Dan has volunteered at the local high school and was previously involved with the Babe Ruth Baseball sports organization and the Safe Rides program. He also volunteers at activities sponsored by the Center for Financial Empowerment.
- Chief Financial Officer – Eric Harvell
Chief Financial Officer
Eric joined SCE Federal Credit Union in December 2019 as Chief Financial Officer and leads the areas of Accounting, Finance, Compliance and Loss Prevention.
Eric brings with him over 25+ years of Credit Union and Finance Services experience in which his area of responsibilities included Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Information Technology, Loss Prevention, Operations, Performance Measurement and Project Management.
What I enjoy most at SCE FCU is that our team members are committed to helping our members thrive and grow. We focus on providing exceptional service to remain relevant to our members’ lives. I'm proud to be a part of this team.
Throughout his career, Eric has been intimately involved in his organization’s Long-Term Strategic Planning, Organizational and Personnel Development. Most recently, Eric held the position of Senior Vice President – Chief Financial Officer at HealthCare Associates Credit Union (HACU) headquartered in Naperville Illinois.
Over his 6 years at HACU, Eric led the transformation of the areas of Accounting & Finance, Compliance and Information Technology as well as pioneering efficiencies and managing organization resource allocation within the credit union. He also successfully oversaw core, online banking and bill pay evaluation, conversion and migration.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting degree from Austin Peay State University and earned his Master’s in Business Administration degree from Northern Illinois University. Lastly, Eric is an avid cyclist and enjoys recreational and traveling adventures with his family.
- Chief Marketing and Community Engagement Officer – Kitty Hunter
Chief Marketing and Community Engagement Officer
Kitty has been with SCE FCU since 2006 and currently serves as the Chief Marketing and Community Engagement Officer overseeing Marketing, Community, Advocacy and Sales. With more than 45 years in the industry, she has also served as the CEO of Santa Ana Federal Credit Union in Santa Ana, California and Monterey County Employees Credit Union based in Salinas, California.
Our commitment to social justice and financial inclusion inspires me daily. I am continually motivated by the passion of our team in helping our members.
Kitty’s roots in the credit union industry began early in childhood as her mother served on the board of directors for a credit union. She, in turn, passed that passion for serving members on to her children and saw two of them become employed with credit unions as well.
Kitty earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies from California State University, Long Beach, is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and has earned her Certified Chief Executive (CCE) certification.
Kitty fondly calls her home her little piece of chaos with two cats, two dogs and neighboring farm animals... her favorite being the horses, but the pigs are a close second. When she’s not in California, she’s just 3½ miles down the road from her family and a stone’s throw from Lake Loudon in East Tennessee.
- Chief Technology Officer - Tony Salse
Chief Technology Officer
Tony has been with SCE Credit Union since 1996 and currently services as the Chief Technology Officer overseeing Information Technology Operations, Data Security, Business Intelligence and Facilities.
With more than 30 years in the industry, he served in many capacities at the Credit Union, including Director of interne Services, Network Administrator, and Vice President of Information. Prior to joining SCE Credit Union, Tony owned and operated a computer consulting business and worked in the telecommunication industry.
The Credit Union's continued focus on researching and deploying technologies and systems designed to enhance members' and team members' lives is why I enjoy being a part of the SCE Credit Union team.
Tony attended Mt. Sierra College and has earned the Certified Innovation Executive (CIE) Designation from CUES after completing coursework at MIT and Stanford. He's also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School. A lifelong learner, Tony is currently pursuing the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Chief Executive (CCE) certifications.
Tony enjoys mountain biking on the weekends and is learning how to sail.

- Board Chair – Patrick McCloskey
SCE Credit Union member since 2002
Patrick is a Certified Public Accountant and an expert in the areas of real estate, associations, business entities, and consulting. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and private industry in the areas of consulting, acquisitions and real estate transactions. During his tenure at Arthur Andersen, Patrick worked for a wide variety of clients including trusts, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, and LLCs.
Volunteering as a Board member for SCE FCU has helped me understand how fully committed the CEO and his team are to taking care of the Credit Union family. I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique qualities of SCE FCU and am an avid promoter to my family and friends.
Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a Juris Doctorate. Specific to credit unions, he has completed numerous courses through the Credit Union National Association and received his Supervisory Committee certification, as well as the financial literacy education requirements through the National Credit Union Administration. Patrick served on the Supervisory Committee as a member and as the Chair prior to being appointed to the Board of Directors. Patrick also served on the Supervisory Committee of the El Monte Employee’s Credit Union.
- Board Vice Chair – Nancy Bond

Nancy Bond is president and CEO of an insurance agency that bears her name. She has been an insurance broker since 1991. She earned her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation to serve her clients, nonprofits and schools, since many do not employ their own risk managers.
I volunteer as an SCE FCU Board member because I believe in the mission of SCE FCU – to help real people. You can “bank” anywhere and be in their system, but we are different. Helping members get or stay on track can enrich their lives. When we do this, families are helped and whole communities are stronger.
Prior to starting her work in the insurance business, Nancy was employed for eight years at Home Savings and Loan (Home Savings of America) as a teller, then in new accounts and then as the new account supervisor in management. She left banking to become a full-time mother for several years before going into business for herself.
Nancy has served on the Board of Directors for the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association since 2004, a National Association of Christian private schools and early childhood centers, numbering approximately 1,500. Her firm is their National Employee Benefits Administrator as well as a strong financial supporter of the organization.
Locally, Nancy has served on the Board of Directors for the Monrovia, California Chamber of Commerce, having her business located in Monrovia since 2000. She has served as Vice President and President of the Chamber. In 2012 she was awarded the Dick Lord award for outstanding volunteer service to the community.
Nancy studies what motivates people to action and is a nationally known speaker. Expertise on topics such as Sexual Abuse Prevention for youth serving organizations and nonprofits, fitness and personal growth, and professional ethics and boundaries are just a few.
Nancy makes her home in Monrovia, California, and enjoys being outdoors. Hiking and road cycling are her favorite fun activities.
- Board Financial Officer – Michael Maxwell

Michael has been a member of SCE FCU’s Board of Directors since 2016 and served on the Supervisory Committee since 2014.
SCE FCU is comprised of a tireless group of people who are always looking out for our members’ well-being. I am amazed at the impact they make in the community as they continue to serve the underserved. I am proud to be a member and a volunteer of SCE FCU. I aim to continue the great tradition of service this Credit Union has established.
Michael is currently the Director of Business Operation at Smart Circle International, overseeing the launch of new programs. He is responsible for building data analytics, forecasting program growth and streamlining pilot launches. Michael previously worked at McMaster-Carr Supply Company, Southern California Edison and was the Chief Operating Officer of an online startup.
Michael earned an M.B.A from University of California, Los Angeles with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and belonged to the Sigma Alpha Lambda and Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Societies.
- Board Secretary – Chris Carter

Chris Carter was appointed to serve on the SCE Federal Credit Union Board of Directors in December 2016. Prior to his Board appointment, Chris served on the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee for four years. In addition, Chris was a member of the SONEPCO FCU Board of Directors at the time SCE FCU and SONEPCO Federal Credit Union merged in 2012.
SCE FCU has as its main focus, aiding the underserved in the communities they are located in. Between the lending policies and educational services, they really are trying to help our communities.
Chris is currently the Facility Manager for NV Energy South in Las Vegas, and responsible for 900,000+ square feet of office, warehouse and service center buildings. He has worked in the facility maintenance profession for over 36 years. During that time, Chris has held leadership roles including foreman, supervisor, lead, and manager for the aerospace, entertainment and utility industries.
Chris holds an associate degree in electronics, bachelor’s degree in management, and an MBA from Keller Graduate School in Henderson, Nevada.
Achievements include: Graduate of the Leadership Henderson program; Certified Facility Manager; Diversity Centered Leadership Graduate; Nevada FOCUS Graduate; , Member of the International Facility Managers Association; Team Member for NV Energy Emergency Response Plan; NV Energy Employee Enthusiasm Committee; and many projects for NV Energy that have reduced their office building power usage by over 20%.
Community Involvement: Ten-year volunteer with the NV Energy Senior Energy Assistance Expo, an annual event that assists local seniors in managing their power bills; team lead for nine years on Rebuilding Together projects, a nonprofit helping seniors with home repairs; former board member of the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, a local nonprofit providing disadvantaged children with new shoes and socks. Chris was recently elected to the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada.
- Board Director – Kenji Coleman

Kenji has been a credit union member since 1998, and a volunteer at SCE FCU since 2000. Kenji served as a Supervisory Committee member for 2 years and on the Board of Directors for 16 years. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. Past executive Board positions include Treasurer/Financial Officer, and Secretary. In addition, he has served on the following Board Committees: Budget, Governance, Board Development, Nomination, Investment, Legislation, and CEO Compensation & Succession.
I have been a proud member of SCE FCU for over 20 years. Credit unions have always been very special to me because they treat everyone as a “member” and “owner”. I feel like a trusted partner, as opposed to banks where I just feel like another faceless “number”. Trust is very important to me. SCE FCU earned mine, which is a key reason why I am proud to serve as a volunteer Board member.
Kenji brings to the Board his 28 years of experience at Southern California Edison in the areas of strategic planning, corporate governance, finance, internal controls, and disaster recovery. He currently works in SCE’s Transmission department as Senior Manager of Project Development and Management.
Kenji earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Redlands (U of R), and Master of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona. At U of R he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Wall Street Journal Business Award. At Cal Poly Kenji graduated in the top 4% of his class. He also earned certificates in Project Management and Emergency Planning and Preparedness.
Kenji has demonstrated experience serving and leading nonprofit organization and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit founded by SCE Federal Credit Union, the Center for Financial Empowerment. Other nonprofit experience includes the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (OES) Earthquake Safety Program Steering Committee, Businesses for Social Responsibility (BSR) Board, the Asian American Professional Association (AAPA) Board.
- Board Director – Angela Wilson

Angie has over 23 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 18 years with Ernst & Young as Audit Partner in Los Angeles. She started her own consulting and audit firm in 2018 and currently serves as an Audit Quality Partner with HKG, LLP providing audit quality and consulting services to her clients.
My desire is to make a difference through community involvement and giving back.
With a background in mergers, compliance, nonprofit organizations, biotech, and strategic planning, she has served in leadership roles within public accounting firms, public and private companies, and nonprofit organizations. She also has significant experience in both the financial reporting and operational aspects of healthcare organizations as well as Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and monitoring, and regulatory and compliance filings.
Angie serves as a peer reviewer for CPA firms in California and holds a license to practice in California. She holds an MBA degree from Arizona State University and BSBA degree in Accounting from the University of Tulsa, graduating with summa cum laude honors from both universities.
In addition to serving on the SCE Federal Credit Union Board she has served on the Board and Committees of Self Employment Loan Fund, Southern California Biomedical Association, O&E Workplace Advocates, and Union Station Homeless Services.
In 1994-1996 Angie took some time to pursue a career as a professional golfer.
She is a two-time Finalist in LA Business Journal’s “Women Making a Difference”.
- Board Director – Victor Dominguez

Victor is a native Californian, born and raised in Whittier. While working for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton, Victor earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Child & Adolescent Studies and Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. For 18 years Victor served in an executive role at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. Victor currently serves as Chief Strategist for the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. Prior to working for the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, Victor was the Executive Director for the YMCA of Greater Long Beach. Victor has been a National trainer for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, training adolescents in the country how to become leaders in their communities and about drug and alcohol prevention.
I am proud to be a board member for SCE FCU because we are a not-for-profit organization that exists for our members’ benefit. As a member-owned institution our credit union provides a safe place to save and borrow at reasonable rates.
Some of Victor’s personal achievements include being named by the Los Angeles Dodgers as the Hero in the Community (2013), as well as being named the City of Fullerton Success Story of the year (2002). Victor has received Certificates of Appreciation for his work in the community by numerous elected officials. Victor was one of three YMCA of the USA Professionals to be given the Andrew Young Award for celebrating diversity in the workplace (2006).
In addition to serving on the SCE Federal Credit Union Board of Directors since 2014, Victor is also on the Advisory Board Member for Delta Air Lines & Aeromexico, Advisory Board Member for Community Bank, Member of the Cal State Los Angeles Presidents Council, Past Chairman of the White Memorial Medical Center Leadership Board, Chairman of the Governing Board of the East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital, Member of the USC Keck School of Medicine Community Council, and Past Commissioner of the City of Huntington Park Health and Education Commission.
